Institutional Values and Best Practices
Every year the college organizes gender equity promotion programs emphasizing women empowerment. For girls, boys a separate common room facility & first aid box is available in the campus. For girl students a sanitary napkin vending machine is available. The Girls hostel is provided to girl students with minimum charge and for transportation from hostel to college free bus service is provided. For the convenience of girl students who cannot live in hostels, the college is providing bus facility from nearby villages without any charge.
College arranges social events in & out of campus regularly. College makes available the physical infrastructure to carry out different social welfare programs for the benefit of social development.
The college organizes activities like sanvidhan din, women’s day, blood donation, AIDS awareness, clean campus initiatives etc. for the promotion of universal values, human values & national integration. The college celebrates the birth & death anniversary of national and international heroes.
The college along with some social members has arranged various camps for helping like mask distribution, glossary distribution during lock down period due to Covid 19. The college has adopted two children from society who are from very poor economic backgrounds. The college collects contributions from staff and takes a major part from itself .
To save energy, the college replaced all bulbs with LEDS. The college is on rent, so the water conservation is simply done by utilizing the rain water for watering plants.
The college is undergoing various best practices for all of the stakeholders. Among all of them, the highest priority based best practice is diploma in fashion designing to interested girl students without any fees, in each academic year. To retain our social consciousness about the environment, our college does a best practice named as ‘fill half save half ‘campaign . By this practice we are creating awareness of drinking water preservation in nearby hotels with the help of banners, which are posted in hotels.
