Teaching-learning and Evaluation

Institute has a good percentage of enrolment of students as per intake capacity in each year.

Admission committee provides proper counseling to every student and parents who approach for admission. Necessary attention is given to students in selecting the subjects special help is given to socially challenged students.

Necessary facilities are available for differently abled students (Divyangjan).

The college strictly adheres to the academic calendar for conducting the regular schedule. Continuous Internal Evaluation by conducting regular class tests, seminars, open book tests, surprise tests, book reviews, home assignments etc. has been done repeatedly. The institution assesses the learning levels of the students through remedial classes, test tutorials, group discussion etc.

Facilities like library, internet, well equipped laboratories, computer, ICT tools, are provided to the student in order to make the learning more student-centric, carrier-oriented Students are exposed to advanced level by arranging lectures of eminent persons. Well-functioning Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and counseling cell is a feature of the college.

The College introduced short term and career-oriented certificate courses on a self-financing basis. It helps to develop their personality, knowledge and life skills.

College sets the learning outcomes for all programs and communicated to the teachers and students and uploaded on the college website. Learning outcomes are reflected in a high pass percentage of the students and university merit ranking.

All faculties follow the academic calendar for the conduct of continuous internal evaluation. Average passing percentage of outgoing students is _60__% during the last five years. At the college level internal exam the answer books are shown to the student. If he feels some query he can approach the concerned teachers and the teacher looks after this matter and satisfies his query. As per guidelines given by the University he can apply for verification of marks by obtaining a photocopy of the answer book in case of external exam.

The College organizes Faculty Development Program in each academic year for the improvement in teaching learning process.
